How to cook Omaha Steaks spiral sliced holiday ham
Step 1: Thaw
Thaw your frozen ham in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Omaha Steaks Spiral Sliced Ham is fully cooked making it possible to serve directly from the refrigerator. If you serve your ham cold, this is the only step you need to enjoy a delicious sweet, city ham. To serve your ham warm, follow the following directions.
Step 2: Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 325. Appliances vary, adjust cook times accordingly.
Step 3: Prep the ham
Remove ham from foil wrap and set aside for later; remove ham from film. Return ham to foil wrapping and place in oven safe roasting pan. Simply roll foil wrapping down leaving 2” foil roll around the bottom of the ham. Place ham in oven on a lower rack.
Step 4: Cook
Heat uncovered, for 60-75 minutes for entire ham or 10 minutes per pound for smaller portions.
Step 5: Baste the ham
If desired, during the last 15 minutes of cooking time baste ham with pan drippings.
Step 6: Serve & Enjoy!
Serve when ham reaches 140 degrees internally. Our spiral sliced ham is pre-sliced to the bone, so you can savor every delicious bite of ham.
Happy Holidays!
