Fried Sage Leaves
This unique recipe is the perfect accompaniment for a Thanksgiving turkey or flavorful squash or fall-favorite soup. It's the flavor of Autumn, and can also be eaten as a snack or as a sandwich topper... you'll simply love these leaves.

Ingredients
- Makes about 24-30 sage leaves
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 bunch fresh sage cleaned, leaves removed from stems
- Kosher or sea salt
Instructions
- Heat oil in a small skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Fry 6-8 leaves at a time until crisp, about 3 seconds. Transfer to paper towels and sprinkle generously with salt.
