Omaha Steaks and the Simon family are committed to delivering exceptional experiences that bring people together - and that doesn't end at the dinner table. Our legacy of philanthropy was built by supporting organizations that enhance the lives of others, and we do this through our Steaks for Good program.
Fighting food insecurity, giving back to the courageous first responders and military members, who protect our communities, and supporting the arts, is how Omaha Steaks invests on a local and national level to improve people’s lives.
Fighting Food Insecurity
“At Omaha Steaks, we understand there’s a growing need for quality proteins in the fight against food insecurity. One of our core giving priorities is supporting our communities by donating quality protein that may not otherwise be available,” said Todd Simon, fifth-generation family owner of Omaha Steaks. “With rising costs at the grocery store, families are struggling to put food on the table, and we feel it’s more important than ever to lend a helping hand and provide high-quality food to families in need.”
First Responders & Military Members
We are dedicated to support the brave men and women who keep us safe locally and abroad. Those serving our communities are always deserving of high-quality protein and we are honored to show our appreciation with monetary and product donations throughout the year.
“We are proud to support a number of military organizations to give back to deserving active duty military and veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country,” said Todd Simon, fifth-generation family owner of Omaha Steaks.
The Arts Community
Omaha Steaks and the Simon Family’s commitment to the visual and performing arts began in the 1940s with local Omaha cultural institutions, and through the years, has grown to include over 170 cultural arts, civic and health-related organizations - locally, nationally and internationally. “My family understood that a vibrant arts culture was crucial to make a place like Omaha into a world-class city that attracts world-class talent,” said fifth-generation family owner Todd Simon.
Generosity is Always on the Menu
Omaha Steaks actively seeks ways to engage our team members in community initiatives, leveraging both our financial backing and the skills of our volunteers, where they dedicate time from their work schedules to contribute their talents to local projects, fostering stronger bonds amongst themselves and cultivating a culture of collaboration, engagement, and happiness.
