  • Roast your Omaha Steaks Whole Basted Turkey and collect 3 tablespoons of turkey drippings from the roasting pan. While optional, the drippings will greatly enhance the flavor of the gravy. While your turkey rests, prepare the gravy.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium shallot, minced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh sage, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons turkey drippings, optional for added flavor
  • 3 cups turkey or chicken stock

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add shallot and garlic, cook until fragrant.
  • Stir continuously and add sage, rosemary, and flour, followed by the turkey drippings and stock. Continue stirring on low heat until mixture thickens, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with your Omaha Steaks Whole Basted Turkey.
