How to Cook Burgers in the Air Fryer
Follow our video and simple steps for the best air fried hamburgers.
1. Thaw Burgers Completely
Our all-beef patties arrive frozen and individually vacuum-sealed. Defrost by placing in the refrigerator overnight or use the quick-thaw method. Place sealed burger patties in cold water for 30 minutes or until completely defrosted.
2. Preheat Air Fryer to 375°F
Preheat your air fryer while you prepare your burger patties.
3. Season Burgers
Pat burgers dry with a paper towel. Lightly oil and season with coarse sea salt and pepper or Omaha Steaks Seasoning.
4. Place on Air Fryer Rack
Place raw, seasoned burgers on a single layer on the air fryer rack. Leave 1 inch between patties to allow the air to circulate and cook your burgers.
5. Cook 10-12 Minutes, Flipping Once
The air fryer cooking time for our 5-6 oz. Omaha Steaks Burgers is just 10-12 minutes flipping halfway through cooking time.
How Do I Know When Burgers are Done?
The USDA recommends that ground beef be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F. This will give you a well-done burger with no pink in the center. For a medium-rare burger doneness, cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F, and for a medium burger cook until internal temperature reaches 140°F. Don’t forget the patties will continue to cook when removed from heat, so remove them 5° before they reach the desired doneness.
6. Rest and Serve!
Remove burgers from the air fryer and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite side dishes or Omaha Steakhouse Fries. You can cook these in the air fryer too using these air fryer cooking instructions.
