Reuben Sandwiches

This classic sandwich is loaded with flavorful corned beef, sauerkraut, and traditional dressing, all on rye bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 38 oz. Omaha Steaks Rustic Corned Beef sliced
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese, divided
  • 4 slices dark or light rye bread, divided
  • 4 tablespoons sauerkraut, divided
  • 3 tablespoons thousand island dressing, divided
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • Instructions

Instructions

  • Take 2 slices of bread and add several layers of corned beef and 1 slice of Swiss cheese to each.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of sauerkraut to each.
  • Equally divide and spread thousand island dressing on the other 2 slices of bread and place on top of the sauerkraut on each sandwich.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Place sandwiches in the skillet and allow to brown, then flip and brown on other sides.
