Ingredients

  • 1 4 oz. Omaha Steaks Italian Breaded Veal Patties thawed
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 Italian sub sandwich roll
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce, divided
  • 1 ball fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons grated fresh Romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons marinated artichoke hearts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons marinated mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons pepperoncini, sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add oil to a small skillet and heat over medium.
  • Add thawed veal patty and brown for 3 minutes; flip and brown for about 2 and a half minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit as per a meat thermometer.
  • Slice sub roll and spread half the marinara sauce on the bottom part, then add the cooked veal patty.
  • Spread sliced mozzarella and Romano cheeses over patty.
  • Top cheeses with the remaining marinara sauce.
  • Evenly lay marinated artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and pepperoncini over sauce, then top with the other half of the roll.
  • Place sub on a baking sheet and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until all cheese is melted.
  • Cut in half and enjoy hot.
