- 1 4 oz. Omaha Steaks Italian Breaded Veal Patties thawed
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 Italian sub sandwich roll
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce, divided
- 1 ball fresh mozzarella cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons grated fresh Romano cheese
- 2 tablespoons marinated artichoke hearts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons marinated mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons pepperoncini, sliced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add oil to a small skillet and heat over medium.
Add thawed veal patty and brown for 3 minutes; flip and brown for about 2 and a half minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit as per a meat thermometer.
Slice sub roll and spread half the marinara sauce on the bottom part, then add the cooked veal patty.
Spread sliced mozzarella and Romano cheeses over patty.
Top cheeses with the remaining marinara sauce.
Evenly lay marinated artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and pepperoncini over sauce, then top with the other half of the roll.
Place sub on a baking sheet and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until all cheese is melted.
Cut in half and enjoy hot.
