It all starts with our master butchers expertly trimming each and every roast and seasoning it with our Omaha Steaks Signature Salt & Pepper seasoning. Then, we employ the sous vide method to cook the prime rib to a heavenly medium-rare temperature. This results in stunning pink slices that you'll want to photograph and upload to your favorite social media platform with the caption: OMG! As for the flavor…rich, juicy, tender, and utterly perfect.
Since this roast is precooked, your holiday preparation couldn't be any simpler: just thaw, bake, and serve. On the off chance you're stuck with leftovers (highly unlikely due to its mouthwatering flavor causing your guests to ask for seconds and thirds) we recommend making prime rib sandwiches the next day with our Gourmet Horseradish Sauce.
Thaw under refrigeration 24 hours. Appliances vary, adjust times accordingly.
Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place prime rib and juices from packaging in an oven safe baking dish. Cover with foil. Cooked covered for 45 minutes. Uncover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until roast begins to brown. Remove from oven, let rest 10 minutes. Carve into slices and serve.
CHEFS TIP: Heat 4 cups beef stock or au jus in a saucepan. Dip prime rib slices in au jus and cook to desired level of doneness. Serve with au jus.
