Omaha Steaks®, which has long been the "go to" gift for American consumers, announced today they've expanded their 2015 offering of holiday gift boxes and baskets, the perfect option for last-minute gift giving this holiday season. 

Omaha Steaks introduced gift baskets to their popular line of premium beef and gourmet foods last holiday season and have expanded their offering to include 12 different assortments. "Our gift boxes and baskets include a variety of products including Omaha Steaks Charcuterie, mustards, dried fruits, crackers, nuts, and chocolates. Some of the gift baskets include wine and all of them can be upgraded to include four Bacon-Wrapped Top Sirloins," said Omaha Steaks Senior Vice President and Family Owner Todd Simon. "Gift baskets make perfect last-minute gift because they're convenient and they contain a variety of food gifts that people love. With many different options to choose from, there's something for everyone." 

According to a nation-wide survey conducted by Omaha Steaks, gift baskets are the most popular food gift among respondents who plan to send a food gift this holiday season, with over 36 percent indicating gift baskets are their food gift of choice.

With only a few weeks left before the holidays, the company is encouraging customers to place orders before Dec. 20 in order to guarantee delivery before Christmas. Orders can be placed later with additional charges for second day air or even overnight delivery on Dec. 22. In response to consumer demand Omaha Steaks retail stores will also offer extended hours beginning Dec. 11 through Dec. 23, remaining open until 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
