Fire-Roasted Salmon
- 4 6 oz. Omaha Steaks Faroe Islands Salmon Fillets thawed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 4 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 3 scallions, green part only, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
Date-Glaze
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup date syrup
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
Fire-Roasted Salmon
Preheat grill to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and set up for indirect heat.
Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towel, then evenly coat with olive oil.
Place salmon fillets on water-soaked cedar plank and season with kosher salt.
Evenly coat each fillet with light brown sugar.
Place cedar plank on grill over indirect heat and close lid. Allow fillets to roast for 12-15 minutes, depending on doneness preference.
Remove cedar plank from grill. Drizzle warm date glaze and finish with scallions, sesame seeds, and black pepper.
