Keyword: Smash Burger Pancakes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 3.2 oz. Omaha Steaks Smash Burgers cook from frozen
  • 4 pancakes
  • Maple syrup
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Hot sauce or sriracha, optional

Instructions

  • Place bacon slices in a cold skillet over medium heat. Cook until crispy, flipping occasionally, then set aside on a paper towel until assembly.
  • Cook pancakes according to package directions.
  • Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high and place frozen Omaha Steaks Smash Burgers directly in skillet. Cook 3 minutes, flip, and cook an additional 2 minutes, or until a crispy crust forms and burgers are cooked through.
  • During the last minute of cooking, top each burger with a slice of American cheese and cover the skillet to melt the cheese. Stack two patties to make a double.
  • In the same skillet used for the bacon, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add eggs, cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side-up, over-easy, etc.), and season with salt and pepper.
  • Assembly: Place a pancake on a plate and top with the stacked smash burgers, then add 2 slices of bacon and a cooked egg (with a dash of hot sauce or sriracha for an optional spicy kick), and top with another pancake. Drizzle with maple syrup and repeat process for the second breakfast sandwich.
