Once our highly trained butchers trim filet mignons from the beef tenderloin, they take the filet trimmings and grind them into the beef that becomes these filet mignon burgers. And when it comes to beef, you won't find anything with the mild-yet-exquisite flavor of Omaha Steaks filet mignons. Our perfect blend imparts a rich, buttery flavor that will always turn out great on the grill. Of course, a grill isn't a requirement. You can always give them a good sear in a hot skillet to seal in the extra-juiciness, and then cook them to your desired temperature.
Your filet mignon burgers will arrive at your door flash-frozen to ensure freshness and individually wrapped. This lets you cook only one if you happen to be grilling solo for the night, or you can cook the entire box when you're throwing the ultimate backyard barbecue.
APPLIANCES VARY, ADJUST COOK TIMES ACCORDINGLY. FOR FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY, COOK THOROUGHLY TO AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 160°F AS INDICATED BY A FOOD THERMOMETER.
Remove burgers from packaging while still frozen. Thaw in refrigerator.
GRILL (FROZEN): Preheat grill to medium (350-400°F). Clean and oil grill grates. Grill, covered, for 8-10 minutes per side.
PAN FRY (FROZEN): Preheat a small amount of cooking oil over medium heat. Add burgers, cover, and cook 8-10 minutes on the first side. Uncover and cook 8-10 minutes on the second side.
GRILL (THAWED): Preheat grill to medium high (400-450°F). Clean and oil grill grates. Grill 5-6 minutes per side.
BROIL (THAWED): Place oven rack 3" from broiler element. Preheat broiler to high. Broil 5-6 minutes per side.
PAN FRY (THAWED): Preheat a small amount of cooking oil over medium heat. Add burgers and pan fry for 6-8 minutes per side.
Overcooking can result in a dry product.
