Cut beef steak into 1-1/4" pieces. Combine seasoning ingredients; toss with beef. Thread beef and bell pepper alternately onto six 10" metal skewers.
Place kabobs on grill over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, uncovered, about 9 to 11 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally. Season with salt. (Or to broil, place kabobs on rack in broiler pan so surface of beef is 3" to 4" from heat. Broil about 9 to 12 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once.)
