GRILLING DO'S & DON'TS

DO'S
  • Do clean and pre-heat your grill on high.

  • Do season and lightly oil your food before grilling. Try one of our signature seasonings for an extra pinch of flavor.

  • Do keep a spray bottle with water handy to douse any un-expected flare-ups.

  • Do grill your steak just right. We use the 60/40 grilling method. Grill for 60% of the time on the first side, then grill 40% of the time after you turn over the food. You can also use our free SteakTime app to help you grill your steak to your desired doneness.

  • Do make sure to slice your steaks up and share with your family and friends for an unforgettable experience!
DON'TS
  • Don't put frozen steaks on the grill; make sure they are room temperature.

  • Don't use forks to handle the steaks as they can damage the meat. Use tongs or a spatula instead.

  • Don't keep moving the meat around the grill, let it sit!

  • Don't place the grilled steaks on the same plate as the raw steaks. Get a new plate.

  • Don't cut right into your steaks. Allow your foods to "rest" for 5 minutes between cooking and eating. This will help them retain moisture when you cut into them.

Gas or Red Hot Charcoal Grill - Preheat the grill on high. Lightly oil and season steaks. Refer to cooking times
below. Allow 3-5 minutes resting time before serving. Apply finishing sauce or glaze if desired.
