Omaha Steaks today announced that the company will sponsor the new season of Pati's Mexican Table, a cooking show starring Chef Pati Jinich that features signature Mexican flavors for the American kitchen. The show airs on public television stations nationwide. Pati, a cookbook author and chef at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, D.C., hosts the show and offers recipes and techniques unique to Mexican cuisine, many of which are prepared using Omaha Steaks products.

"We have long admired Pati and her culinary knowledge and passion for Mexican cooking," said Omaha Steaks Senior Vice President and Family Owner, Todd Simon. "We appreciate the interesting Mexican dishes that Pati has developed using Omaha Steaks items and we look forward to participating in this fun and informative show that showcases Mexican cooking at home."

Pati Jinich is a cooking teacher, food writer and chef of the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, DC Born and raised in Mexico City, she earned her master's degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University. She left policy work to pursue her lifelong passions: to research, write about, test and prepare Mexican food, while sharing her knowledge and adventures in that cuisine and culture with others. Her first cookbook, Pati's Mexican Table is being published by Houghton Mifflin, Harcourt for release in March 2013.
