Omaha Steaks, the iconic brand synonymous with the city of Omaha, today announced that Nike, Inc. will feature a customized variation of the Omaha Steaks logo on T-shirts designed for sale at this year's NCAA® Division I Baseball Championship to be held in Omaha from June 18-29. The new logo, fashioned in the Omaha Steaks style, contains the phrases "Omaha Eight" and "Heartland Baseball" and will be featured for sale at various retail outlets in Omaha, including The Dugout, located at 13th and Cuming Streets and the Nike Fieldhouse, located at 1502 Mike Fahey Street.

"We were honored when Nike approached us about using a variation of our logo on the shirts they designed in honor of the National Baseball Championship's upcoming debut at Omaha's new TD Ameritrade Park," said Omaha Steaks Senior Vice President and Family Owner, Todd Simon. "Omaha has been home to Omaha Steaks since 1917 and we are honored that our brand is considered an ambassador of the city. We look forward to welcoming baseball fans from all across the country to experience the good life of Nebraska and the great taste of Omaha Steaks."

In keeping with Omaha Steaks' trademarked status as "the official sponsor of tailgating," the company also is involved in sponsoring a corporate hospitality tent called "THE TAILGATE," throughout the entire championship. Located directly across from the stadium, the tailgate tent will exclusively feature menu items from Omaha Steaks.
