Omaha Steaks, The Official Sponsor of Tailgating, proudly congratulates company tailgating spokesman Ndamukong Suh for winning the 2011 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year Award today. The 2011 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year Award recognizes Suh for his outstanding performance throughout the season. Suh, a rookie defensive tackle for the NFL's Detroit Lions, was the number two overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft and in his first year, Suh led all defensive tackles in the league with 10 sacks and a recorded 66 tackles. In his role as a spokesman for Omaha Steaks' tailgating initiatives, Suh offers tips and advice on perfecting the art of tailgating.

About Ndamukong Suh

Ndamukong Suh is a defensive tackle for the NFL's Detroit Lions. He was selected to the 2011 NFC Pro Bowl Team as a starter. Prior to joining the NFL, Suh played college football at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where as a senior, he became one of the most decorated defensive players in college football history winning accolades for his team, conference and on the national level. In 2009, Suh became the first defensive player ever to win the Associated Press College Player of the Year Award, in addition to being a Heisman Trophy finalist and winning multiple other awards.
