Duckling Breast with Orange Sauce Product Information & Preparation Instructions:
Thaw in refrigerator
Uncooked: For safety, must be cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F, as measured by use of a thermometer.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread out on a lightly oiled broiler, score skin making a criss-cross pattern. Season with salt and pepper or as desired. Roast, skin side up, in oven for approximately 25-30 minutes, for medium well doneness.
TO PREPARE ORANGE SAUCE:
Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Place pouch in boiling water and continue to boil for 6-8 minutes. Carefully remove pouch from water, clip corner and pour over duckling or serve on the side.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove duckling breasts from packaging, score skin by making a criss-cross pattern. Season with salt and pepper or as desired. Preheat oven-proof skillet on stove-top to medium. Place duckling skin side down for approximately 8-10 minutes, until browned. Turn ducking breasts over and cook 1-2 minutes. Then place skillet in preheated oven. Bake for 3-4 minutes or until an internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest 2-3 minutes before slicing.
