Home-style Beef Brisket Product Information & Preparation Instructions:
Thaw in refrigerator.
Marinade or season as desired. Place brisket in crock pot with ½ cup of water. Cover with lid. Cook for 4-5 hours on high or 9-10 hours on low. Slice thin across the grain of the meat.
Marinade or season as desired. Preheat oven to 325°F. Heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet over high heat on the stove-top. Carefully place brisket in skillet and brown for 2-3 minutes on each side. Transfer brisket to a baking pan, adding ½ cup of water. Cover pan tightly with foil, crimping edges. Cook for 3 to 3 ½ hours. Slice thin across the grain of the meat.
