Founded in 1917 as the Table Supply Meat Company, Omaha Steaks FoodService
continues an award-winning tradition of excellence that spans more than 90 years.
The FoodService Division ensures the finest products and guarantees customer
satisfaction to hotels, restaurants, and institutional accounts throughout
North America, the Caribbean, and Pacific Rim countries. Since 1917, personalized
service and customized products have been our hallmark. Our products such
as the popular Omaha Steaks Angus Beef, USDA Prime and Choice, exceed
the North American Meat Processors Association (NAMP) product specifications
for trim and craftsmanship. Omaha Steaks has the ability to process products
to all customer specification. Products can be shipped fresh or frozen.

| Fred Simon has authored The Steak Lover’s Companion:
170 Savory Recipes From America’s Greatest Chefs including recipes
from 22 contributing chefs from across America. The cookbook, published
by HarperCollins, is widely available. With John Harisson and Mark Kiffin,
Simon has created a very useful menu cookbook with a regional approach to
steak cooking. Beef for All Seasons was released in the fall of 1998, followed by Let's Grill in the fall of 2000
and Beef in the Spring of 2001. |

Omaha Steaks was honored with the prestigious American Tasting Institute's 2002 "Gold Medal - Excellence in Taste" Award,
representing the Best of Show in the Mail Order Steak Category for its Filet Mignon and Boneless Strip Steaks
The Nebraska Commissioner of Labor selects Omaha Steaks to receive the Industry Award 2000 for leadership in
employment diversity.
Omaha Steaks received the Better Business Bureau's Business Integrity Award in 2000. The award recognizes businesses that have consistently set
exceptionally high standards of behavior in the marketplace.
In 2000, The Nebraska Food Industry Association recognized the Simon Family of Omaha Steaks for a Lifetime of Outstanding
Leadership to Nebraska's Food Industry.
Omaha Steaks received the Safety and Health Council of Greater Omaha's Award of Honor with Distinction in 2000 based on outstanding
safety and health programs for nine consecutive years.
Delta Airlines' Omaha Steak Program won the 1999 Silver Mercury Award for Innovation in Food from the
International Flight Catering Assn.
In 1998 The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce inducted Lester Simon (3rd generation owner) into the Omaha Business
Hall of Fame for accomplishments that are historically significant to the development of Omaha.
The Nebraska Arts Council awarded Omaha Steaks with the 1998 Governor's Arts Award for leadership within
the business community.
In 1997 Omaha Steaks was the recipient of the Catalog of the Year Award from Catalog Age

Omaha Steaks supports numerous non-profit arts, health and
civic organizations nationally and within the Omaha community. Organizations
include: Opera Omaha, Omaha Symphony, Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, National
MS Society, Direct Marketing Educational Foundation, Women’s Fund
of Greater Omaha and the National Conference for Community and Justice.
Omaha Steaks’ corporate collection of Native American prints by Edward
S. Curtis have been shared with museums across the country and as an international
cultural exchange project at the Shimin Gallery in Shizouka, Japan.
The Company has also implemented a number of family friendly programs to
assist employees including adult and children’s care referrals, sick
and emergency care programs, and even a Snow Days program.
